Dotty - Chief Comfort Officer
Dotty is a five-year-old miniature French Bulldog with an unforgettable charm. With her expressive face, wiggly walk, and love for snuggles, she never fails to bring joy wherever she goes. Whether she’s curled up beside someone for a quiet cuddle or playfully engaging a group, Dotty has a natural gift for lifting spirits and making people smile.
Laura - Founder
A professional carer with a lifelong passion for people, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful connection. With years of experience across the care sector, I’ve worked in roles that have taught me how powerful presence, empathy, and genuine companionship can be, especially for elderly individuals.
The Story
Plums & Dotty was born from something very close to my heart. During my grandma’s final years, a therapy dog visited her home. The joy on her face during those visits was unforgettable, it was pure magic. That experience didn’t just comfort her, it gave our whole family something beautiful to remember. I knew then that I wanted to share that feeling with others.
With Dotty by my side, I now bring that same light and comfort into care homes across the region. I take time to listen, to laugh, and to make every resident feel seen, valued, and cared for, because every person deserves a moment that lifts their spirits and fills their heart.
